IRB692 training complete!
Some of it was even interesting...
Other than that it's been a pretty light week on 644.
I put a good deal of energy into my other two classes; only six hours left to do for ETEC 692.
It also looks like I will be able to delay my trip in June so I should be able to show-up to brief my progress in week 11! (Of course I feel like including it in this post is just begging Murphy's law!)
Vegas next week! Strictly business though.

Brian,
Have fun in Vegas! Even if it is strictly for business.
I agree this week has also been lighter as far as a workload in class than the week before. I think a major part of the reason is the literature review, but that could just be me.

I am glad to hear that this week was better. Vegas will be fun - even if it is just business. I thought that the IRB training was a bit much but at the same time it was interesting. Given that we have to go through the process it is good to know and understand why. Glad to hear that we will be graced with your presence that last week of classes. Enjoy

I thought the history behind the IRB was really interesting. It was nice talking to you at the PD campus last week. If you need incentive to keep working on your project once the class is over, keep in contact thru the blog. I'm an ADD/procrastinator (bad combination)and need deadlines to keep me going. I know you want to finish yours too. Maybe we could have a friendly competition.
Brian,
I think we are all feeling a bit lighter with the Lit Review behind us. I guess now the challenge is to remain focused despite the lack of graded deadlines You are a dedicated man though, so I am sure you will overcome. I noticed one of our classmates from the PDC has presented competition as a tool to keep each other on track, sounds like a great idea. I have actually used this technique in my undergrad with a really large project called our SWAN Bill, it was the only thing that kept me going and got me to the end. Ditto on the good luck in Vegas.
